How you are recruited says a lot about the company recruiting you.
Pay attention to the unspoken things. The recruitment process should be less of a task, and more of an experience.
As a candidate, you want to “feel” something about the company (people) recruiting you. Yes, it is about a job opportunity, but it is also about the people you will be working with and the conditions under which you will be working.
Your interactions with a potential employers are as much about you deciding if you want to work with them, as it is about them deciding if they want to work with you. Trust your gut. If something doesn’t feel right about an organization or the people during the recruitment process, what makes you think it will be right once you are working for them? It will not.
The recruitment process should be detailed, organized and engaging. We tend to forget that "engaging" part. You are putting your best foot forward, the company recruiting you should do the same also. And if they don't - that's a warning sign.
Pay attention for clues that you are either going to enjoy or not enjoy working with these people. The biggest clue is how enjoyable the actual recruiting process is.
