Discover a new kind of talent acquisition with Focus & Find

Building on the deepening awareness that diverse leadership teams create more innovative and profitable enterprises, Focus & Find helps you break through bias to find and develop the executive, board and management talent you need to accelerate success.

We’ve conducted successful searches for Fortune 250 and Russell 3000 companies and have earned a reputation as the “search firm’s search firm.” Organizations turn to us when they or their search firms have failed to hit pay dirt in a critical search. We take it from there and deliver results.

Certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration as an 8(a) business, Focus & Find is headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, with a network of recruiting professionals nationwide.

  • The most diverse and inclusive organizations are consistently ranked as the highest performing. Eliminating undue bias from the recruiting process is a hidden advantage for businesses to maximize impact and profitability.

  • Focusing on being an antidote to the poison of bias is a means of working each day for a purpose higher than mere profit, but for the betterment of the world itself.

  • Creating a bias-free culture allows people to bring their full-selves to the workplace.

  • With all of the talk of allyship, it has come to be defined as a bumper-sticker form of advocacy. It’s important to energize people to fight and be active. Be anti-bias, not just unbiased.

  • Bias is ubiquitous, yet a means of diagnosing, understanding, and reversing bias is not. It’s a fight worth fighting.
